Hydraulic flour mill

Visits to the Hydraulic Flour Mill must be requested in advance and in writing at the Town Hall.

The Routes through the traditional orchard and the events held in the Natural Park of Los Sotos del Río Segura, are published on social networks and on local bulletin boards.

The visitor can obtain information on transport, accommodation, and services offered by the municipality of Formentera del Segura.

The municipality and its history

The town, of Muslim origin, passed in the 13th century to Jaime de Aragón. For centuries it was passed, as a sale, inheritance or donation, through the hands of different lords and nobles, until it finally ended up being the property of the Marquis of Algorfa, who ceded it to his son Nicolás and he, relying on the Alfonsina law, founded the town of Formentera del Segura.
