It is a specialized Social Service aimed at improving the nutrition of the elderly.
For this, food is delivered daily, from Monday to Friday and except holidays, which, according to medical indications, is adapted to the nutritional needs of each person.
The cost of the Service will be financed by the Ministry of Social Welfare (42%), the Municipal Council (24%) and the contribution of the user (34%).
The price of the menu for the user in the province of Alicante is €2.78/day.
Must make the payment monthly, in advance, by direct debit monthly in advance.
Recipients/Requirements
- Being 65 years of age or older.
- Being 60 years old in a situation of dependency and for people with disabilities in a situation of dependency, over 18 years of age, who live with the person over 65 years of age who is a beneficiary of the program.
- Have autonomy to prepare and eat the food that is the object of the service, or provide the commitment of family members or the local entity that is responsible for said task.
- Be registered in the municipality.
- Specify the service, accredited by a favorable social and medical report.

Users of the Generalitat Valenciana Transport Card will be able to travel on all routes beginning and ending within the Valencian Community, with a 50% reduction in intercity bus tickets managed by public companies or by private concessionaire companies .

- Do not obtain income that exceeds the S.M.I. in force at all times.
- Have habitual resistance in some municipality of the Valencian Community.

These are treatments that are presented in spas to pensioners who require it by medical prescription.
The price of the treatments is reduced and they are offered in shifts of 15 days. Includes accommodation in double rooms, full board, basic thermal treatments, tourist insurance.

- Be a pensioner of the Social Security System due to retirement or disability, or due to widowhood or others if you have reached the age of 60.
- Not suffer from serious mental disorders or infectious-contagious diseases.
- Being able to fend for yourself.
- Specify the requested thermal treatments.
- Attend the call and reach the stipulated scale.
- The applicant may be accompanied by a spouse or person with whom they live, who is not required to be a pensioner.

This card is valid within the Valencian Community and provides benefits to its holders in cultural and sports events and shows, as well as in leisure and free time activities.

- Reside in the Valencian Community.
- Be older than 55 years.

- Photocopy of the Social Security Card.

Department of Culture, Education and Science.
Recipients/Requirements
- Being over 65 years old, or over 60 and a pensioner for any other reason.
- Be registered in one of the municipalities of the Valencian Community, with a minimum seniority of 1 year immediately prior to June 1, 2014.
- Not suffer from infectious-contagious disease.
- Being able to fend for yourself.
- Dependent family members with a disability equal to or greater than 45% who are part of the applicant’s family unit can be beneficiaries of the program, provided that the trip is made with their relatives and they occupy an extra bed in the same hotel room.
- The SPOUSES or domestic partners of the applicants must compulsorily meet requirements 3, 4 and 5 above.

- Certificate of disability assessment of the dependent family member participating in the program.
- Pension certificate or photocopy of the revaluation of the applicant’s pension, if he is under 65 years of age and over 60 years of age.

Non-contributory presentation of Social Security that is paid in 14 annual payments. It also entails the right to Social Security health care as a pensioner.

- Reside legally in Spanish territory and have done so for 10 years, two of them immediately before applying for a pension.
- Lack of income and sufficient income according to the scale established each year.

Vacation program for seniors with vacation shifts from 5 to 15 days in low season. The following destinations are offered:

1.-Requirements:
- Be a resident in Spain.
- Be at least 65 years old.
- Be retired pensioners of the public system.
- Be a Disability or Widowhood pensioner and be at least 60 years old.
- If the applicant is traveling with the spouse, it is not necessary for the spouse to meet the age and pension requirements.
- A child with a disability of 45% or more is also admitted as a companion, accrediting it conveniently.

Recipients/Requirements
People residing in Spain who meet any of the following requirements:
- Be at least 65 years old.
- Retirement pensioners, widow’s pensioners whose age is equal to or greater than 55 years and other pensioners of the Public Pension System and early retirees, in both cases with 60 years of age.
- The spouses of these people will be considered beneficiaries, as companions, although they do not need to meet the age and pension requirements.
- A child with a disability, who has a degree of disability equal to or greater than 45%, will be admitted as a companion, provided that the trip is made with their parents and occupies an extra bed in the same hotel room. The corresponding section of the application must be completed with the details of the child.
- In any case, applicants must fend for themselves and not suffer behavioral changes that prevent normal coexistence in hotels.
Processing
If you were accredited to travel last season, you do not need to complete a new application, since Imserso will have contacted you to renew your data.
If, on the contrary, you access the Social Tourism Program for the first time or resume your participation after an inactive period, you must formalize a new application.
In approximately September, all applicants will receive a notification indicating:
- Date on which they can obtain the tickets, with a place guarantee, having to choose their trip within the existing availabilities.
- For those who, once assessed, do not have a guaranteed place, they will also be notified of the date from which they can go to the Travel Agency in case there are vacancies for any of the destinations or dates.
It is only possible to join applications between applicants from the same province of origin, and in these cases it must be taken into account that the destinations chosen and the order of priority must be exactly the same in both applications.

Services provided
Participation in a vacation shift includes:
- Round trip in the scheduled means of transportation, from the provincial capital to the destination hotel and return, except in the modality of trips without transportation.
- Accommodation on a full board basis, in a double room to share in hotels selected by Imserso. Accommodation in a single room is contemplated, which will have a supplement in the price and will be subject to availability of places.
- Collective insurance policy.
- Medical service, complementary to Social Security, in the Hotel itself.
- Animation program.
Due to their special characteristics, medical services and an entertainment program are not included in Nature Tourism and Cultural Tours shifts.

In 1997, the Ministry of Social Welfare decided to launch a program that would provide elderly people who are alone with the possibility of spending Christmas days in company, in a family and festive atmosphere.
Recipients/Requirements
- Living alone, that it is impossible for them to meet with family or friends due to their distance or due to other circumstances.
- Reside in the Valencian Community.
- Over 65 years old or be a disability, retirement or widow pensioner with 60 years of age.
- Not suffer from a behavioral disorder that may affect or distort coexistence in a collective residential center.
- Fend for oneself for basic activities of daily living.

- Copy of the certificate of disability, in the event that the applicant wants to be accompanied by a disabled child, in this case, both applications must be stapled.
